Motherwell have offered two year deals to four of their top players following their Champions League qualifying season.
Stalwarts of midfield and defence at the Lanarkshire outfit have been given the option to sign contracts to stay at Fir Park until 2014, the club has confirmed.
Keith Lasley, Steve Jennings, Tim Clancy and Stevie Hammell have all received terms to commit to Stuart McCall’s side for another 24 months.
Lasley won the club’s player of the year award after an impressive term, while his partner in midfield Jennings has only ever been on 12 months deals since arriving from Tranmere in 2009.
Hammell had made more than 400 appearances over two spells with the Steelmen and Clancy forced his way into contention after arriving from Kilmarnock earlier this season.
Meanwhile back-up goalkeeper Lee Hollis, as well as youths Adam Cummins, Zaine Francis-Angol and Steven Hetherington, have all been tabled one year deals by the club.
