Saturday was a day to forget for Motherwell defender Adam Cummins.
The 19-year-old scored an unfortunate own goal as Celtic ran out 2-0 winners at Fir Park to leapfrog the Steelmen at the top of the SPL table.
To make matters worse, the teenager was sent off after bringing down Kris Commons in the penalty area in the second half.
Goalkeeper Darren Randolph saved the spot-kick from Scott Brown but that’s as good as it got for Motherwell.
Neil Lennon was delighted with his team’s performance while Stuart McCall remained philosophical over his side’s progress this term.
