Peterhead chairman Rodger Morrison has said that his club would welcome any newco Rangers to Division Three.
The Ibrox club have yet to have their fate decided, but Morrison insists that he would happily have Rangers in his division, as it would add significant interest to fixtures in the SFL.
He said: "I think from a fan point of view it would be really exciting, from a financial point of view it would be really exciting, from a manager's view then he might struggle.
"From a TV perspective, they obviously concentrate on the SPL. For once, the Third Division would benefit from the exposure that Rangers would bring.
However, he does worry that SPL clubs will vote to retain Rangers to keep their revenue stream.
He said: "I'm afraid if it came to a vote in the SPL there would be too many chairmen there only voting to keep Rangers for financial reasons, which is wrong."
