In or out? Full list of players joining or refusing move to 'Rangers newco'

Barred from playing SPL football and with a place in any league uncertain, a number of Rangers players are refusing to have their contracts moved from the old company to Charles Green's newco.

Nine have already said they will be using their right under TUPE regulations to terminate their contracts, allowing them to move to another team.

Some though have stated their loyalty regardless, with others yet to declare their position.

Those wishing to work for Green's company are expected to return to pre-season training at Murray Park on Thursday.

This list will be updated as and when any announcements are made on the futures of players.

Aluko was out of Contract. Its also missing players like Grant Adam, Scott Gallacher, Saša Papac, Chris Hegarty and Gordon Dick who are also out of contract.

1. You have far too much time on your hands... Get a grip (or a job).
2. Why are you so concerned with Rangers when your own excuse of a club has some important fixtures in the Champions League upcoming?
3. You keep stating that "the club is gone"... No, the club is still here, it's arrogance to think it's dead when it's not and you're plainly very uneducated.
4. Leeds went 'Newco' in 2007 and they're the same club as they've always been with the same history behind them.
5. Sone Aluko had a two-year option by the club on his six-month contract when it was signed, so technically his contract never expired. If it did expire then he would have had no reason to publicly object to the 'Newco' and just moved on, like Sasa Papac did, wouldn't have he?
6. For the groups of C*ltic fans who plan to boycott any club who votes 'Yes' to a 'Newco', what happens if C*ltic themselves vote 'Yes'? Are they going to boycott their OWN club (like they did during Tony Mowbray's reign) and leave them penniless? Faithful through and through? Aye right.

1. Is there some reason why you feel the need to attack the messenger, and not the message?

2. Why would I be concerned with a club which no longer exists? This is about a brand new club, just over two weeks old, not being subject to the same rules which every other club in Scotland is. even worse, the gerrymandering going on is not only supported by the SFA, SPL, and SFL, it is actually of their own doing!

3. The shares are liquidated, the club is gone, end of.

4. Leeds were never liquidated.

5. Any contract he had would have been with a club which now no longer exists. With that, his contract went as well.

6. Why are you talking about Celtic? What relevance have they to this?

pointless trying to reason with Declan Murphy given he doesn't accept that the club remains but the corporation doesn't - he's a Pacific Shelf denier.

As well as previously pointed out, Salim Kerkar is currently out of contract as well, thus while he's returned to training would be free to accept offers elsewhere too.

THE Rangers Football Club 2012 has now been born and awaits acceptance of its bid to not only join the SFA but also the SPL. June 2012 is the formation date of the newco and it currently holds no titles and no honours. Fans of THE Rangers Football Club can no longer claim to follow the world’s most successful club. The 54 championship titles, 33 Scottish Cups, 27 League Cups and the European Cup Winner’s Cup are not the property of THE Rangers Football Club 2012, despite what Duff & Phelps, Charles Green and Ally McCoist peddle to the press, they belong to the now defunct Rangers Football Club 1872.

Former Rangers player Alex Rae commented this week in a column in the Daily Record, and is very apt: “We can now say that 140 years of history have effectively come to an end.”

A club is a company.

I've even pointed you to where it confirms it on the website of the now defunct club.

"as Rangers formally became a business company"

This is now, what, the second, third time I've pointed this out to you?

The club became the company.

Is this clear to you? Are there any words in that sentence you don't know the meaning of? Do you still want to deny that Rangers FC were the company which was liquidated?
