Following the financial crisis that struck Rangers this year, the fortunes of the Ibrox club have dominated the Scottish sport headlines.

At the centre of the story has been the role played by the governing bodies, and the discussions between the Scottish Football Association, the Scottish Premier League, the Scottish Football League and Rangers that ended with the club transferring its membership and taking a place in the Third Division.

SFA chief executive Stewart Regan spoke to STV's Raman Bhardwaj to explain the process that dealt with the issues surrounding Rangers, his own position and the difficulties in dealing with an unprecedented situation in Scottish football.
