Rangers boss Ally McCoist says he’s pleased with Francisco Sandaza’s contribution to the team.
The Spaniard has scored one goal in 12 appearances for the club having spent time on the sidelines with a fractured cheekbone.
His sole goal came in the 5-1 win over East Stirlingshire in August.
However McCoist says he’s happy with the way the 28-year-old is playing.
He said: "He [Sandaza] did everything apart from score.
"I felt for him in terms of not getting a goal but that was the only thing lacking from his overall performance.
"The argument is that a centre-forward should be scoring goals.
"But, that said, his contribution was very valuable to the team.
"You can see him becoming just like his old self.
"He makes things happen, he was involved in two or three of the goals and I was delighted with his performance outside of not scoring."
