Fleetwood Town Jamie Vardy will be watched by Rangers scout John Brown on Tuesday night, as interest in the 18-goal striker intensifies.
A number of the Conference National side's players are understood to be attracting Rangers' interest, but Vardy is at the forefront of their thoughts.
The Englishman shone in his side’s FA Cup defeat to Blackpool at the weekend, with the Championship club subsequently making a transfer bid for the 24-year-old.
Fleetwood rejected their offer, saying it fell short of their £1 million valuation for Vardy, who joined the club from Halifax Town in August.
Celtic have also been attributed with an interest in the player, who is yet to play league football in his career to date.
Vardy has scored 18 goals in 21 appearances for the Conference National side this season, with Fleetwood currently sitting in the play-off positions for a shot at promotion to League Two.
