As the rest of the football world focuses on Chelsea’s Champions League semi-final victory over Barcelona, the Scottish landscape continues to be dominated by the Rangers crisis.

The fallout from the sanctions handed out to the Ibrox club continues after manager Ally McCoist demanded to find out the names of those who imposed the measures.

McCoist has reacted angrily to the decision and has called for the governing body to reveal those responsible for actions which he believes “could kill” the club.

The only other place filled with as much anger as Govan right now is Villa Park, where locals are getting restless with Alex McLeish's quest to relegate his second club from England’s second city.

Both sides could combine to vent their ire at Barry Bannan, should they choose, after the pint-sized midfielder declared he’s willing to play for Team GB.

Elsewhere one well-known TV character takes a look at Geoff Shreeves’ post-match interview with Branislav Ivanovic.
