Rangers have unveiled their new kit for the 2012-13 season.

Club legend Sandy Jardine and first-team player Rhys McCabe launched the new shirt which has a retro look.

The shirt is designed to mark 1972 Cup Winners' Cup final victory and their 140th anniversary

The sponsors logo is smaller in previous years and placed directly below the club badge.

Speaking about the shirt, manager Ally McCoist told the club's official website: "Our supporters always look forward to the latest Rangers kit being unveiled and I am sure next season's home strip will have special meaning to our fans as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our Cup Winners' Cup victory in Barcelona and the Club's 140th anniversary.

"Next season's strip pays tribute to the shirt worn in Barcelona in 1972. Tennent's have been investing in the Scottish game for almost 40 years and know what both these special anniversaries mean to Rangers.

"I'd like to thank them for working with us to design this distinctive, commemorative strip that is sure to be worn with pride by all our supporters. Our fans have been with us for 140 years and they will be with us for another 140 years."
