Ex-Dundee United defender Mihael Kovacevic has joined Ross County on a week’s trial manager Derek Adams has confirmed.
The 24-year-old, who played at Tannadice between January 2008 and June 2011, is a free agent after leaving Croatian side FK Zadar.
Kovacevic was brought to Tayside by Craig Levein and helped the club win the Scottish Cup in 2010.
Adams told the Scottish Sun: “We’ve taken the player in for a wekk’s trial and hopefully if it goes well it will prove the right move for club and player.
“Mihael played a lot of games for Dundee United in the SPL and has very good experience.
“But we want to see how he is looking as well as showing him around the club.
“He has spent the last season in Croatia. He will play a trial game next week but won’t feature against Clachnacuddin.”
