See SPL video highlights of Ross County’s first-ever top flight win

Richard Brittain ensured his name will go down in Ross County’s history books as his penalty gave the club their first-ever SPL victory.

The Staggies captain stepped up to fire home from the spot after Mark Corcoran was fouled by Neil McGregor.

Having come close to beating Celtic last week, Derek Adams’ side were keen to push on against a Dundee team which were yet to find the net.

There was more frustration for Dundee boss Barry Smith, who felt his side lacked a good final ball.

Colin Nish and Lewis Toshney made their debuts for the Dark Blues and Smith was impressed with Nish’s display.

He added: "Colin is an experienced pro. He looks to link up and is good with the ball at his feet. He will definitely be a good addition for us."
