Former Falkirk forward Farid El Alagui has held talks with Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and Brentford, STV has learned.
The striker, who netted 27 goals in 43 games for the Bairns last season, is a free agent after leaving Steven Pressley’s men at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old Moroccan held talks with the League One outfit earlier this week before flying back to Scotland to speak to both SPL clubs on Wednesday.
El Alagui spoke with Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels at Rugby Park this afternoon before heading to Perth for discussions with Steve Lomas.
The player became a fans’ favourite at the Falkirk stadium and helped the club win the Ramsdens Cup last term.
His form for the club saw him voted as the PFA Division One Player of the Year award.
Prior to arriving in Scotland, Bordeaux-born El Alagui had spells in his home country and France.
