St Johnstone forward Gregory Tade has been handed a two-match ban following his failure to overturn a red card.
The striker was sent off in the 2-0 defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle during the opening weekend of the Scottish Premier League season.
Tade, who moved to Perth from Inverness Caledonian Thistle, appeared to clash with Hearts defender Andy Webster.
At the time the Saints were trailing to a John Sutton penalty and soon lost a second following the 25-year-old's sending off for violent conduct.
On Thursday night, the Scottish FA's fast track tribunal confirmed it had rejected the claim of wrongful dismissal and and a two-match suspension for Tade would kick in with immediate effect.
St Johnstone boss Steve Lomas refused to defend the Frenchman's actions and labelled his conduct "stupid" following the defeat.
