Steven MacLean joked after his goal earned St Johnstone a point against Hearts that he was due an assist from his friend Murray Davidson.
The striker could not miss after Davidson resisted the temptation to go for goal and squared the ball for his team-mate.
He said: "I travel with him [Davidson] to games, so it was about time he laid on a goal for me.
"I'm forever towing him about so he owed me one. I've been on at him for weeks to provide for me."
MacLean felt he was unlucky not to score a winner as well.
He said: "When Gregory Tade went through on the goalkeeper, the ball came to me and I think it ricocheted off my shin. It was going in until Ryan McGowan came from nowhere and cleared it off the line.
"That's just our luck of late. We just need to keep doing the right things and there's a team going to come here soon and get a right battering."
