St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas will give three trialists the chance to win contracts with the SPL club this week.
Trio Kingsley Francis, Daniel Day and Ryan Marriott will all train with the Perth club as the Northern Irishman attempts to add to his squad.
Willie Gibson's loan deal at McDiarmid Park is unlikely to be extended while the future of striker Francisco Sandaza remains unkclear.
All three trialists are expected to feature in a bounce match against Celtic on Tuesday.
Francis left Championship side Blackpool last year after spending two seasons at Bloomfield Road. He featured in an FA Cup tie against Southampton last year but struggled to force his way into Ian Holloway’s plans.
Teenage full-back Day is also without a club after leaving Tottenham’s Academy while 23-year-old Marriott has spent the majority of his career in the Welsh Premier League.
The former Chelsea trainee has had spells with Bala Town, Aberystwyth Town and TNS.
