Steve Lomas is delighted that St Johnstone have managed to retain the services of Francisco Sandaza and Jody Morris.
Top-scorer Sandaza was heavily linked with a move to Rangers, while there was speculation that Jody Morris would return to England with Bristol City.
However, the transfer window shut with both players remaining at McDiarmid Park and Lomas is only too pleased to have retained them.
The Northern Irishman said: "I think it's brilliant. If we'd have lost Jody or Fran it would have been a blow to the team. To keep them is fantastic and it's a big boost for everyone at St Johnstone."
"There is always speculation about players but until the appropriate bid comes in he (Sandaza) is our player. We're delighted that Fran is here and we can enjoy him for five months.
I'm sure he's going to be looking to score some more goals to catch the eye of potential people that want to take him."
