St Johnstone goalkeeper Alan Mannus has extended his contract with the Perth club for another year.
The Northern Ireland international has signed on until the end of next season after making ten appearances so far this term.
The 29-year-old had to stay patient to wait for his chance, making his debut in the Scottish Cup defeat to Hearts in February this year.
Mannus had left Irish side Shamrock Rovers and a place in the Europa League to join Derek McInnes’ men last summer.
Now he has set his sights on keeping the number one jersey ahead of Peter Enckelman and improving his international prospects.
Saints assistant boss Tommy Wright is also the goalkeeping coach of the Northern Irish national team and Mannus will hope his influence can help him add to his four caps.
