Football Talk: Scotland's woes, Killie can't compete, Powell hits a stoater

Everything about the trip to Florida was infuriating and regrettable for Scotland© SNS Group

For the first time in recorded history, the whole of Scotland was pretty glad they were not in Florida at the weekend.

They could keep their humid subtropical climate, we had ‘the slope’ in Kelvingrove. We didn’t need their Disneyland when M&D’s was in full flow. There’s nothing as dangerous as an alligator in the Tay or the Forth.

They can also keep our useless football team while we all pretend to be far more interested by tennis, bowls and cricket. Okay, maybe not cricket.
