Dick Advocaat's Russian squad is largely made up of players from within their home country.
Only two of the squad play their football outside of the Russian border; Fulham's Pavel Pogrebnyak and Sporting's Marat Izmailov.
Artem Dzyuba and Magomed Ozdoyev have been dropped from the provisional squad, while Lokomotiv's Roman Shishkin withdrew through injury.
