Scotland boss Craig Levein has recalled left back Danny Fox to his squad to face Australia.
The Scots take on the Socceroos at Easter Road in a friendly on Wednesday, August 15.
Levein’s 24-man squad also includes under-21 scoring sensation Jordan Rhodes and fit-again Steven Naismith is also included following his move to Everton.
Fox returns to the set-up for the first time under Levein. The former England Under-21 player made his solitary appearance in dark blue in George Burley’s final game in charge, a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Wales in Cardiff in November 2009.
There is no place in the pool for Craig Gordon, who is carrying a knee injury as he seeks a club since leaving Sunderland, and Rangers full back Lee Wallace also misses out.
Striker Kenny Miller has been omitted to save him travelling after recently completing a move to MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.
