Scotland manager Craig Levein has added Ross McCormack and Ian Black to his squad to face Australia in a friendly after four players were forced to withdraw.

Injury has ruled out James Forrest, Jamie Mackie and Phil Bardsley while West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans has pulled out for personal reasons.

It’s the first time Black, who moved to Rangers this summer, has been called up to the squad.

On Tuesday the national team boss said he would not ruled out selecting Rangers players in future squads despite the Ibrox club now being in the Irn-Bru Third Division.

Leeds United forward McCormack has seven caps for his country, the last of those coming in the Carling Nations Cup against the Republic of Ireland in May 2011.

Celtic winger Forrest has been struggling with a groin problem while Sunderland defender Bardsley has an ankle injury.

Meanwhile Queens Park Rangers midfielder Mackie has a calf complaint.
