Scottish football results, Saturday March 13 2010:

Scottish Cup quarter finals: Dundee 1-2 Ross County, Hibernian 2-2 Ross County, Kilmarnock 0-3 Celtic.

Scottish Premier League: Falkirk 1-2 St Johnstone, Hamilton 1-0 St Mirren, Motherwell 3-1 Hearts.

Scottish First Division: Airdrie United 1-1 Ayr United, Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 Queen of the South, Inverness CT 1-0 Morton.

Scottish Second Division: Brechin 0-2 Arbroath, Clyde 1-2 Cowdenbeath, East Fife 3-0 Peterhead, Stenhousemuir 1-0 Dumbarton, Stirling Albion 0-3 Alloa Athletic.

Scottish Third Division: Albion Rovers 1-0 Montrose, Elgin City 0-1 Livingston, Forfar Athletic 1-5 Annan Athletic, Queens Park 2-0 East Stirlingshire, Stranraer 3-1 Berwick Rangers.

16.58: That's the lot then, we're waiting on no further full-time whistles across Scotland. So stay tuned for the full-time scores. Or, if you're partial to a bit of rugby, head on over to Rory Hamilton's live text commentary of Scotland v England in the Six Nations.

16.56: There's the whistle at Dens Park. Raith Rovers have knocked out First Division leaders Dundee and they will join Celtic in the semi-final draw of the Scottish Cup. Remarkable stuff for the Kirkcaldy club. Gordon Brown will be getting a Hampden outing then.

16.55: Dundee are pounding Raith Rovers goal as they try desperately for an equaliser at Dens Park but they are having no luck. Raith are holding on for dear life.

16.53: A remarkable equaliser for Airdrie United at home to Ayr United. They were 1-0 down thanks to Daniel McKay's 90th minute goal but Paul Keegan has obliged with one of his own. You wait 90 minutes for a goal then two come along at once. Typical. Airdrie 1-1 Ayr.

16.50: I need to take a closer look at the SPL table but I reckon today's results have dragged Aberdeen right into trouble at the bottom of the league. They'll have a game in hand and still hold nine points over Falkirk but their momentum is downwards. Could they be on the way down?

A second for Queens Park at home to East Stirlingshire, Queens Park 2-0 East Stirlingshire.

16.48: GOAL FOR HAMILTON IN THE 90TH MINUTE! Hamilton 1-0 St Mirren and Flavio Paixao has lifted the Accies above the Buddies in the SPL table with a valuable late goal at New Douglas Park. Paixao scores with effectively the last kick of the game.

Late winner for Ayr at Airdrie as well, Daniel McKay with the 90th minute strike to make it Airdrie 0-1 Ayr United.

16.47: Some full-times starting to come in now in the Scottish Football League. In the cup, will Dundee get that equaliser or are Raith going to upset the big-spending Dens Park club and reach the semi-finals?

Some goals in the bottom two tiers. Oliver Russell has got a late consolation for Stranraer against Berwick, 3-1 there now. And Bryan Prunty has made it Stirling 0-3 Alloa.

16.45: GOAL FOR ST JOHNSTONE: Kenny Deuchar gets a rare goal and looks to have stolen the points for the Saints at the SPL's bottom club. Six minutes left to play there. Falkirk 1-2 St Johnstone.

16.43: 3-1 to Dunfermline at home to Queen of the South, Steven Bell with the penalty to put the game beyond doubt.

16.40: Five to Annan now and Anson again is on the scoresheet, 5-1 to the Third Division club now. Goal for East Fife as well, they are now 3-0 up at home to Peterhead thanks to Lloyd Young. And finally, Paul Quinn has made it 1-0 to Stenhousemuir at home to Dumbarton with three minutes to go. Forfar 1-5 Annan, East Fife 3-0 Peterhead and Stenhousemuir 1-0 Dumbarton.

16.38: There's a goal... and it's gone to Annan Athletic: 4-1 to Annan now at Forfar, Scott Anson finishing the game off with a strike seven minutes from time. Is there a late surge coming from Annan to reach the play-offs?

Goal for Clyde too, the catchily named Dmitrus Borisovs with a goal seven minutes from time. Can they find an equaliser? Clyde 1-2 Cowdenbeath.

16.36: I will go on record now as saying well done to Leigh Griffiths, when he gets the equaliser and winner for Dundee in a few minutes time.

16.34: GOAL TO DUNDEE! The First Division leaders are back in the game. Craig Forsyth has cut the deficit in half with a header, as Dundee try to recover from two goals down against Raith Rovers for a place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals. Dens Park is suddenly swept with optimism - can they do it? Dundee 1-2 Raith Rovers.

Goal for Albion Rovers in the Third Division as well, Steven McKeown has put the Coatbridge club 1-0 up against Montrose.

16.30: Celtic fans, apparantly Gary Caldwell is having the worst game of his career today at Wigan Athletic. They are 4-0 down at Bolton and it sounds like he is having an absolute stinker. I'll try and find out a bit more. How much did he go for again? Oh and Scott McDonald is having a stormer for Middlesbrough against Newcastle. How much did he... oh.

16.29: GOALS TO QUEEN OF THE SOUTH and Alloa: Queens are back in it at East End Park, with David Weatherston making it 2-1 now to Dunfermline Athletic. In Division Two, Alloa are now 2-0 up at Stirling, Bryan Prunty with the goal. Dunfermline 2-1 Queen of the South and Stirling 0-2 Alloa

16.25: There it is, a third for Motherwell! Then one for Hearts! I told you there were goals at Fir Park still to come. Jim O'Brien put Well three up in the 68th minute from Jamie Murphy's cross. But, from the kick-off, David Templeton has roared up the park and grabbed one back for the Edinburgh club. Just like Hibs did to Ross County earlier. Motherwell 3-1 Hearts.

John Dempster has made it 2-0 to Cowdenbeath at Clyde in the Second Division and it's 3-1 to Annan now at Forfar, Lewis Sloan with their third.

16.24: GOAL FOR INVERNESS: Caley can go three points behind Dundee now in the race for the First Division title if they can hold onto a 1-0 lead at home to Greenock Morton. Nicholas Ross has put them ahead after 65 minutes. Inverness 1-0 Morton.

16.23: Motherwell look absolutely unstoppable right now. Hearts just haven't got any answer to wave after wave of attack and there's surely more goals in this. If it stays like this, Craig Brown's team are up to fourth in the league. One more goal and they go third.

16.17: Is there any way back for Dundee? You'd think with Leigh Griffiths and the goal scoring form of Gary Harkins, they might find a way back in at home to Raith Rovers but it is not looking good right now. That said, they came from two down at home to Inverness last week.

16.14: Oh good, a goal or two. Paul Stewart has put Queens Park in front at Hampden against East Stirlingshire. That's another dent in the Shire's hopes of winning the Third Division title. Stuart McColm has a hat-trick for Stranraer now, he's scored his team's third at home to Berwick. Queens Park 1-0 East Stirlingshire and Stranraer 3-0 Berwick.

16.10: Hmm, a sudden lack of goals. This is unprecedented. In the meantime then, let's read about Robbie Keane wanting to take a Scottish Cup medal back to Spurs.

16.05: And we're off again. Great result for County. Could we have two First Division clubs in this season's semi-finals of the Scottish Cup?

15.52: Well that's that at Easter Road! First Division Ross County will take SPL side Hibernian back to Dingwall for a replay of their Scottish Cup quarter final. John Hughes' boys will not fancy that one bit. Great result for Derek Adams' side, who came from behind twice. Hibernian 2-2 Ross County.

15.46: Half-times around the country now, with Hibs home game with Ross County in the Scottish Cup drawing to a close with the First Division club holding their opponents to a 2-2 draw.

15.45: GOAL TO ST JOHNSTONE: Liam Craig has levelled the scores for St Johnstone at Falkirk from the spot.  Falkirk 1-1 St Johnstone.

15.44: GOAL TO LIVINGSTON, DUNFERMLINE and COWDENBEATH: Rafa de Vita has made it 1-0 to Livi at Elgin City and Calum Woods has extended the Pars' advantage at home to Queen of the South, making it 2-0. Gareth Wardlaw has given the Blue Brazil the lead against bottom club Clyde in the Second Division.

15.43: In case you missed it, Robbie Keane scored three as Celtic defeated Kilmarnock 3-0 at Rugby Park earlier on to book theri place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.

15.41: GOAL FOR ROSS COUNTY: Cut that short - Ross County have equalised at Easter Road! Michael Gardyne has found the net with 11 minutes to go, game on and it's a deserved equaliser for the First Division club. Hibernian 2-2 Ross County.

15.40: Right, where were we? Raith Rovers look like causing a bit of an upset at Dens Park. Motherwell are rampant at home to Hearts and I'm tempted to put some money on them finishing in second place.

15.30: Sincerest apologies to those following the action, there have been a good few goals to tell you about but there have been a few technical problems here. Strap yourself in, here come all the goals in a nice list and then we'll assume normal business.

Scottish Premier League: Falkirk 1-0 St Johnstone (Twaddle 27), Hamilton 0-0 St Mirren, Motherwell 2-0 Hearts (Reynolds 2, Sutton 13)

Scottish Cup: Dundee 0-2 Raith Rovers (Simmons 3, Ellis 10), Hibernian 2-1 Ross County.

Scottish First Division: Airdrie United 0-0 Ayr United, Dunfermline Athletic 1-0 Queen of the South (McDougall 18), Inverness CT 0-0 Morton.

Scottish Second Division: Brechin 0-2 Arbroath )Hislop 1, Ross 31), Clyde 0-0 Cowdenbeath, East Fife 2-0 Peterhead (Crawford 9, Linn 15), Stenhousemuir 0-0 Dumbarton, Stirling Albion 0-1 Alloa Athletic (Gormley 29).

Scottish Third Division: Albion Rovers 0-0 Montrose, Elgin City 0-0 Livingston, Forfar Athletic 1-2 Annan Athletic (Harty 15; O'Connor 25, Bell 34) , Queens Park 0-0 East Stirlingshire, Stranraer 2-0 Berwick Rangers (McColm 14, 19)

15.14: GOAL TO MOTHERWELL: Craig Brown's team look like extended their unbeaten run as they go 2-0 up on Hearts at Fir Park. This time it is John Sutton who finds the net.

15.14: 2-0 to Raith Rovers! Laurie Ellis has made it two for Raith Rovers at Dundee with a header and the leaders of the First Division are well and truly on the ropes. Are Raith heading for an unlikely place in the semi finals of the Scottish Cup?

15.08: GOALS TO MOTHERWELL AND RAITH ROVERS: Early goals galore in both the SPL and Scottish Cup. Motherwell are 1-0 up on Hearts thanks to Mark Reynolds, and Stephen Simmonds has given Raith, conquerors of Aberdeen in the last round, are 1-0 up away to First Division leaders Dundee.

15.00: And we're off, the starting whistles go off on 17 games across Scotland and, shortly, the whistle for the start of the second half will sound at Easter Road, with Hibernian leading Ross County 2-1,

14.55: Almost time for the 17 remaining games to get underway in Scotland this afternoon. We've got one other Scottish Cup quarter final, three SPL games and 13 SFL games. Here's the full list of fixtures:

14.40: The line-ups are starting to come through for the rest of today's Scottish Cup and SPL action. All the starting XIs shortly.

"The first half wasn't good enough really and we made the players aware of that at half-time and thankfully we found the right formula to get the right result.

"We needed to be better and we were. Ultimately this team has to find standards that are very, very high and sustain them for 90 minutes."
Tony Mowbray wasn't happy with his team's first half showing in Celtic's 3-0 win over Kilmarnock

14.29: Hibs are really in a game today, Ross County are giving as good as they are getting. After coming eighth in the First Division campaign, they've put themselves in title contention and it's no mean feat to be giving the SPL's fourth placed side a game. There's goals in this yet.

14.22: GOAL TO HIBERNIAN!: Well that didn't last long, did it? Derek Riordan goes straight up the other end and restores the home side's advantage instantly. Rankin's pass finds the livewire Riordan, who cracks an effort past McGovern from the edge of the box. Hibernian 2-1 Ross County

14.20: GOAL TO ROSS COUNTY: Ian Murray scores an own goal and the Dingwall club are back in it. Michael Gardyne fires the ball at Hibs goalie Stack, who saves well but the rebound hits Murray in the chest and bounces into the net. Hibernian 1-1 Ross County.

14.15: Derek Riordan nearly makes it two but McGovern is equal to his effort, turning his fierce effort round the post for a corner.

14.09: GOAL TO HIBERNIAN. Colin Nish has scored for the hosts and they are 1-0 up over Ross County at Easter Road. A stramash in the goalmouth and Nish is on hand to steer the ball beyond a despairing Michael McGovern in the County goal. A good start for the Edinburgh side, that's Nish's sixth of the campaign.

14.08: Celtic have won the first of today's Scottish Cup quarter finals, with Robbie Keane scoring a hat-trick in a 3-0 win at Rugby Park.

14.00: Afternoon, you're just in time for live text updates as the rest of today's Scottish football action starts to get underway. Hibs v Ross County in the Scottish Cup is just about to kick off at Easter Road, with Dundee v Raith Rovers to follow.

Alongside the game at Dens Park in the cup, there are three SPL games and 13 games in the Scottish Football League. I'll bring you all the goals as they happen.

Hibernian line-up: Stack, Murray, Hogg, Hanlon, Wotherspoon, McBride, Miller, Rankin, Stokes, Nish, Riordan.

Subs: Smith, Thicot, Cregg, Galbraith, Benjelloun

Ross County line-up: McGovern, Miller, Morrison, Boyd, Keddie, Brittain, Scott, Lawson, Vigurs, Gardyne, Barrowman.

Subs: Malin, Kettlewell, Craig, Wood, di Giacomo.

Hibs striker Colin Nish before the match: "We've got a hard game  against Ross County. Hopefully, we can get through that and, if we can, we've got to give ourselves a right chance of winning it.

"It could be a big banana skin because I think they're doing well in the First Division. They've got a lot of good players and obviously this'll be their cup final. We're trying to get to our cup final."

Ross County boss Derek Adams: "We're looking forward to it. We'll go there and try and win the game and try to progress to the semi-final at Hampden."
