Scottish Cup: Rangers v Dundee United
Walter Smith’s Rangers side will be hoping to finish off Dundee United to ensure their passage to the semi finals as they chase a possible treble this season.
However, the Ibrox side have been warned against complacency by assistant manager Ally McCoist. McCoist warned that if his squad lose their fight, it could lose the side all three trophies.
“"Trebles are hard to win and while it is fantastic still to be in three competitions I don't really want to talk about that," said McCoist. "It's not something we would encourage here. We have won absolutely nothing yet.”
He added: "Complacency is something that could put a dent in our hopes of winning trophies and we have to guard against it."
Dundee United’s Peter Houston is planning a surprise attack on Rangers in a bid to make up for the 7-1 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox back in December.
Rangers will welcome back defender Madjid Bougherra, who should return from injury while Kirk Broadfoot is likely to sit out the tie due to a hamstring problem.
The Arabs will miss Andy Webster due to the terms of his loan-deal from Rangers, with Darren Dods filling in at the back.
Injured left-back Paul Dixon is ruled out with Sean Dillon deputising, while Scott Robertson, Lee Wilkie and Danny Cadamarteri remain injured.
