Ross County manager Derek Adams has added two more players to his squad after they impressed in pre-season friendlies.
Former Dundee United defender Mihael Kovacevic and Jonathan Bateson have agreed to join the Victoria Park men ahead of their first season in the top flight.
Kovacevic, 24, who played at Tannadice between January 2008 and June 2011, is a free agent after leaving Croatian side FK Zadar.
He was brought to Tayside by Craig Levein and helped the club beat County to win the Scottish Cup in 2010.
Bateson most recently played for Macclesfield Town, making 22 appearances last season. Adams told national newspapers: “Both players are here with us training and we just want to iron out the finer details. Mihael did superbly in two friendlies and we will work on his fitness.
“I obviously know a fair bit about him from his previous time in Scottish football and from playing against us in the Cup Final.
“He did very well up against Michael Gardyne — unfortunately for us, Michael didn’t really get a kick of the ball!
“Jonathan is only 22 but he also has a very good pedigree.”
