Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Terry Butcher has further strengthened his squad by adding Frenchman Claude Gnapka to his pool of players.
The 28-year-old has been at Walsall during the first half of the season but has now signed a short-term deal with the Highlanders until the summer.
Butcher told the official Inverness website that he was delighted to secure Gnapka, who can operate on the wing or at full-back.
He said: "I have been tracking Claude for a good number of years, but never managed to get him so we're very pleased that he has flown north and put pen to paper.
"He's big, strong and pacy and can score goals, so he will be a very exciting asset to the Club. Claude joins Kenny Gillet and Gregory Tade to give us a triple French influence in our squad.
Having already landed striker Sam Winnall from Wolves on loan, it gives us more depth in a pool which has continuously been depleted by serious injuries."
Gnapka started his careerat Montpellier before spells at Marignane and Beaucaire. In 2003 he moved to Racing Santander B before a year at Alaves B. He then moved on to the Swiss league to play for FC Vaduz before making his way to England and first Swindon and then Peterborough United, where he was a regular.
It was at Luton where he made his greatest impact, playing over 100 games, scoring the winning goal in the 2009 Football League Trophy final and being selected amongs the Conference team of the season for 2010.
At the start of the 2011 season he moved to Walsall, making 26 appearances and scoring 2 goals for the League One side.
