Inverness Caledonian Thistle captain Richie Foran has pledged his future to the club after signing a new two-year deal.
The Irishman has extended his stay in the Highland capital until the summer of 2014.
The 31-year-old worked under current Inverness boss Terry Butcher at Motherwell before moving to Southend United.
And Butcher was delighted to keep the midfielder has agreed to stay beyond the summer.
He told the club's official website: "Richie is an inspirational player for this club. He's done a magnificent job for us in the past two years and still has a major contribution to make.
"Recently he's been performing a new holding role in midfield and done extremely well there. Richie commands the respect of the players and the management team alike.
“Maurice Malpas and I signed up for new two year deals and this continuity is maintained by Richie committing for a similar period."
