Aberdeen’s Pittodrie stadium will play host to international rugby for the first time in two years as Scotland take on Tonga.
The Scottish Rugby Union confirmed the match will take place on November 24, with a 3pm kick-off.
Andy Robinson’s side have won their past two matches and are preparing to take on Samoa on Saturday.
Those results have propelled the national team up one place to tenth in the world rankings. Autumn tests have already been arranged against New Zealand (November 11) and South Africa (November 17), which both take place at Murrayfield.
Head coach Robinson said: "It's tremendous to be returning to Aberdeen. There's a passion for the national team in the north-east of Scotland which was very evident when we played Samoa two years ago.
"I know the lengths supporters go to travel to Murrayfield for matches and I firmly support the initiative of the national team taking the game to other parts of the country when we can."
The last time Scotland played in the north east against the weekend's opponents in 2010 and they remain unbeaten in two other matches in the Granite City.
