Scottish rugby young gun Tom Brown reckons the impact of the new generation of players in the country will push the team on.
The Edinburgh full-back made his international debut against Australia in the recent southern hemisphere tour.
The 22-year-old joins other fresh faces in Andy Robinson’s set up, like flanker Rob Harley, number eight David Denton, both also 22, and winger Lee Jones, 24, in forming a new generation of Scots stars in dark blue.
Brown said: “There’s a lot of young boys coming through like David Denton and Lee Jones and the boys on tour like Rob Harley who got his first cap.
“It’s a huge transition but being on tour was a brilliant atmosphere and the boys got on great.
“There’s a good feeling amongst the squad at the moment. Hopefully we can keep rising and keep improving.”
