Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen has named an unchanged starting 15 as his side attempt to claim a place in the Amlin Challenge Cup with victory over Bath.
If the Warriors can win the Heineken Cup group game and other results go their way, the Firhill men could remain in European competition and progress to the quarter finals of the challenge cup.
Lineen told the club’s official website: "We know our chance of making the Heineken quarter-finals has gone, but make no mistake, this is another huge game for us this weekend.
"There is a massive amount at stake in any number of senses. First and foremost, we need to win to give ourselves a chance in terms of the Amlin quarter-finals, while beating a Premiership team on their own patch would be a significant achievement in itself.
"Bath are a tremendous, proud club with great traditions. They set the standard for clubs like ourselves in terms of where we aspire to get to. They’ll be hungry to finish their Heineken campaign with a strong performance, so we know just how tough it will be to achieve the right result.
"We were very frustrated not to beat the reigning European champions [Leinster] last week, and I’m delighted the players aren’t satisfied by having run a quality side like that so close. We want to be winning these big games, and it’s important we set down a marker this weekend for the battles that are coming our way in the RaboDirect PRO12."
The only changes to the Warriors side which was beaten by Leinster 23-16 in Glasgow sees Ryan Wilson, Peter Murchie and Henry Pyrgos come in for Johnnie Beattie, Troy Nathan and Colin Gregor on the substitutes bench.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have confirmed New Zealand back row forward Chris Masoe will not be joining the club. Masoe, who plays for French side Castres, held discussions with the Warriors about a possible move in the summer but he has decided to remain in France.
He said: "Although I’m not going to be joining the Warriors on this occasion, I’d like to make a point of putting on record how impressed I’ve been with the club and Scottish Rugby throughout this whole process.
"My partner Gemma and I paid a visit to Glasgow and Scotstoun Stadium a few weeks ago, and we were both blown away by the warmth of the welcome we received from everyone at the club and the people we met around the city.
"The Warriors couldn’t have done more to make us feel wanted, and as a result this was an extremely tough decision. The club are heading in the right direction and I wish them all the best for the future."
