Glasgow’s Heineken Cup campaign ended with a late defeat to Bath at The Rec.
Two late penalties from Olly Barkley gave the hosts victory as Sean Lineen’s men suffered another disappointment on the European stage.
Bath had led 10-6 at the interval but they needed Barkley to ensure they claimed victory, showing his nerve to convert with the boot.
Duncan Weir put Glasgow into the lead but then cost his team by allowing Biggs in to score the game’s opening try.
Both sides squandered chances to add to their points tally with Barkley ensuring Ian McGeechan’s men went into the break ahead.
The hosts moved further ahead four minutes after the interval when Skirving went over.
John Barclay’s try was disallowed but Tommy Seymour’s effort was allowed to count as Glasgow reduced the deficit to just four points at 17-13.
Bath went down to 14 men when Chris Cook was sent to the sin bin and the Warriors made their advantage count as Staurt Hogg fed Harley to go over for another try.
However Barkley then took centre stage to win the match with two late penalties.
The result ends Glasgow's faint hopes of taking part in the Amlin Challenge Cup.
