Glasgow Warriors missed out on a place in the RaboDirect PRO12 final despite a late fightback against Leinster.

Sean Lineen’s men scored twice in the last three minutes but it wasn’t enough as the Irish side set up a meeting with Ospreys at the RDS on Sunday, May 27.

An early penalty from Jonathan Sexton fired Leinster ahead but Duncan Weir levelled matters soon after.

Further scores from Sexton saw the hosts go into the break 9-3 ahead.

The match remained a tense affair after the break before Sexton converted his fourth penalty of the match before Kearney found space to score the game’s first try.

However Glasgow refused to give in and Dougie Hall powered over the line to give them some hope.

The travelling support could barely believe their eyes as Stuart Hogg latched on to Ruaridh Jackson’s grubber kick for another try.

However it was too late as Leinster claimed victory.
