Andy Murray cruised past France’s Michael Llodra to move into the fourth round of the Australian Open.
The Scot defeated the Frenchman in straight sets 6-4 6-2 6-0 to move into the second week of the competition.
The Dunblane ace broke early in the opening set and survived a few tough moments before claiming the set on serve in 47 minutes.
Llodra decided on an attacking style of play from the start, rushing into the net in the opening games.
However Murray had little trouble picking off the world number 46 with a series of excellent passing shots.
The Frenchman troubled Murray’s serve at 4-3 but Murray lifted the pace of the match and a backhand passing shot got him out of trouble.
Despite losing the first set, 31-year-old Llodra continued to play in a similar fashion.
The world number four was able to turn on the style displaying his full range of shots with his trademark lob on show.
Murray raced into a 5-2 lead and sealed the set with an entertaining final game which saw numerous long rallies.
The Frenchman was a beaten man and seemed to have no answers to the Scot’s dominance.
Murraywent 3-0 ahead and never looked back as he closed out the game without any fuss.
Afterwards Murray said: "Every point seemed to be a fun point. It was a fun tennis match, which isn`t normal at a Grand Slam.
"I had great support and it was packed from the first point to the last. I`m really enjoying myself.
"That was my style tonight. I hope everyone enjoyed it."
The Scot will face Mikhail Kukushkin, who beat Gael Monfils in a five-set thriller, in the next round.
