Andy Murray will continue his bid for Australian Open glory when he takes on Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin in the early hours of Monday morning.
Standing in the way of the Scot and a place in the quarter-finals is Russian-born Kukushkin who sits 88th in the world rankings.
The two met in the recent Brisbane International with the Dunblane ace winning 5-7 6-3 6-2 on his way to the title.
While Murray has often been criticised for his mother’s input to his game, Kukushkin (24) is coached by his wife Anastasia.
And Murray is expecting another tough match against the man who defeated Gael Monfils in the last round.
The Scot said: "He (Kukushkin) was very good when I played him, the first six games he was unbelievable. He hardly missed a ball.
"He was hitting the ball huge, going pretty much down the line on every shot and cleaning lines.
"He's won a couple of long five-setters and is obviously in good shape."
While the Kazakhstan man’s coaching se-up may be unusual, Murray’s new partnership with Ivan Lendl is continuing to grow.
And so far both player and coach seem content with how things are developing.
Murrayadded: "We have been keeping it pretty low-key," he said. "We haven't been practising here (at Melbourne Park) on the days off. We have been off-site, just getting our work done.
"But he'll be seeing things in my matches that I can't work on just now so I'll do that after the tournament's done."
