Glasgow Warriors gained their fourth succesive Rabo Direct Pro 12 league win after seeing off Aironi 18-6 in Italy.
An early penalty from the in-form Duncan Weir put Glasgow ahead before the hosts hit back to edge three points ahead with two kicks of their own.
Weir again came to Glasgow's rescue with the boot to fire them into a 12-6 half-time lead.
The visitors had to cope when Johnny Beattie was sent to the sin bin early in the second period but the hosts couldn't take advantage.
Weir extended Glasgow's lead with a penalty 18 minutes from time before adding another kick ten minutes from the end to seal the win and the man of the match award.
The Scots will now be full of confidence ahead of next week's Heineken Cup clash against Bath.
