Edinburgh had Harry Leonard to thank for helping them to victory over Treviso in their RaboDirect Pro12 League clash.
The stand-off kicked five penalties and converted a try from flanker Ross Rennie for a personal haul of 17 points.
Three of those kicks gave the visitors a 9-8 half-time lead which saw a yellow card for Nick de Luca.
Edinburgh’s fourth penalty in the opening minute of the second half stretched the Scottish side’s lead to four points.
Another penalty for Treviso saw them reduce the deficit before Leonard struck again to make in 15-11.
Ross Rennie powered over for a try to make the game safe for Edinburgh before Leonard completed the scoring to seal a 22-11 triumph.
