It's been very showery during Friday with some fairly nasty showers over large parts of central Scotland and also around Grampian areas too.
Luckily, the racecourse missed the worst of the weather like I thought it would, getting away with mainly dry weather with good spells of sunshine.
On Friday the going was good to soft, although I expect we might see this move more to soft by Saturday with a few showers set to pass during Friday night and Saturday morning.
I have given a 70% chance of a shower on Saturday as I think the showers should be few and far between, although still a risk of a heavy one.
Those heading for the races should make sure they are close to a marquee or the Grandstand to get quick shelter from any passing showers, although, it will feel pleasant in the strong April sunshine and with light winds.
